Gustau Camps-Valls, awarded with the Blaise Pascal Medal 2025 of the European Academy of Sciences

Gustau Camps-Valls, UV professor and Image Processing Laboratory lead, won EurASc’s 2025 Blaise Pascal Medal for Earth and Environmental Sciences for hybrid AI, causal inference and remote-sensing methods that transform climate modelling. He’ll receive the award and deliver a keynote at CERN, Geneva, 17–18 December 2025, recognising his geoscience contributions.
